Hello, I’m Emily Jones a.k.a. EmilyBobDraws!

I’m an illustrator originally from Tyneside but now live in Cardiff.

I studied Illustration for Children’s Publishing at the Glyndwr University School of Art and, after doing many different jobs, now worked as a freelance illustrator.

My illustration successes include being an Undiscovered Voice with the Society of Children’s books (SCBWI).  Being shortlisted for the Stratford-Salariya Children’s Picture Book Prize in 2017 and 2021. And being named runner-up in The Jonathan Cape/Observer/Comica Graphic Short Story Prize 2017. 

My first Illustrated book, The Twit’s Next Door, is out now. Coming this summer is Luna Grace, Girl from Space. And keep and eye out for loads of exciting things coming in 2026!
